Abstract

This research is basically to describe the tasawuf in the book al-Hikam, the style of tasawuf in the book, and its implications for the formation of morals at the Mambaus Sholihin Islamic Boarding School. With this research, it is hoped that it will increase broader knowledge and scientific insights about Sufism in the book al-Hikam by Ibn Athaillah as Sakandari and can help efforts to practice the style of Sufism contained in the book al-Hikam by Ibn Athaillah as Sakandari as well as a reference in the formation one's morals. In this book, there is the concept of Sufism which helps a servant to draw closer to Allah. Sufism which has various developments from time to time is divided into two kinds: a. Sunni Sufism b. Philosophical Sufism. Kitab al-Hika contains several teachings of Sufism: a. Sunni Sufism which is divided into two, 1. Sufism akhlaqi, tasawuf prioritizes the formation of good morals with several stages: Takhalli, the process of self-cleaning from reprehensible traits, Takhalli, the process of decorating oneself with good morals, Tajalli, a position that is obtained after going through two The above stage is the absence of a hijab that covers the relationship between a servant and his God. b. Tasawuf amali is the process of increasing charity with various processes (maqamat) so that it leads to the intended states (ahwal). c. Philosophical Sufism is Sufism whose teachings combine mystical visions and rational visions. The results of the study show that in the book of al-Hikam, there are several teachings of Sufism, but the most dominant is Sunni Sufism, namely Sufism Akhlaki. So that this book can be a reference for managing one's morals to have good morals
