Abstract

This School Action Research (PTS) aims to find out whether the competence of teachers at MI Ma'arif Jekeling Kab. Kulonprogo can be improved through academic supervision activities. This research uses a model developed by Kemis and Taggart. Each action or cycle always consists of four activities: 1) action plan, 2) implementation of action, 3) observation or research, and 4) reflection. From this research activity it is known that there has been an increase in the professional competence of teachers at MI Ma'arif Jekeling Kab. Kulonprogo in preparing RPPs through academic supervision activities. In cycle I the average score obtained was 57.5% which was considered sufficient. After carrying out activities using an academic supervision approach in cycle II, it turned out that the average score obtained by research subjects increased by 24 scores, so that the average score obtained was 91.0%. From adequate to very good. The conclusion of this research is that the use of academic supervision activities can increase the competency of teachers at MI Ma'arif Jekeling Kab. Kulonprogo in preparing the RPP.
