Abstract

Efforts to improve the discipline of PJOK teachers can be carried out by school/madrasah principals through coaching activities, as well as providing Rewords and Panishments which may be given to the PJOK Teachers. Based on the background above, the researcher formulated the following problem: Can the application of Reword and Punishment improve the discipline of PJOK teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Khoiriyah? How can the steps for implementing reward and punishment improve the discipline of PJOK teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Khoiriyah? Action research is carried out in 2 cycles so that the research process is easier and the results are valid. This research also uses the spiral model from Kemmis and Taggart which was developed by Sptephen Kemmis and Robin Mc Taggart which consists of 2 cycles and each cycle has steps starting with planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Based on the research focus, it shows that the implementation of Reword is a high commitment to discipline according to plan. Meanwhile, implementing punishment for teachers can result in low commitment in discipline according to the plan of PJOK Teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Khoiriyah,
