Abstract

Economics is a social science related to human activities related to the production, distribution and consumption of goods and services. The economy and finance are also one of the things that are important to support the survival of society, especially in microeconomics. The village of Wates Tanjung has a large area of land to generate finance. Not many people in the village pay attention to the potential of its natural resources. Lack of insight into the processing of natural materials around is one of the main factors for the lack of awareness and independence as well as skills in setting up a business. To increase creativity and willingness to set up a business, with the aim of assisting PKK cadres, a community service program was carried out with the delivery of materials and practices at the Village Hall. The purpose of this community service program is to provide insight into the use of natural ingredients, one of which is bamboo leaves so that they can be used as natural drinks that have health and economic value. After the presentation of the material and practice there was an interactive dialogue between the participants and the organizers. This program of mentoring activities for making bamboo leaf drinks received a positive response from the community in the Wates Tanjung Village Area. Public awareness of the breadth of employment opportunities makes the people of Wates Tanjung Village more innovative and creative in the use of their natural resources.
