Integrasi Nilai Islam Moderat Pada Pendidikan Karakter di MI Miftahul Ulum Driyorejo Gresik

Abstract

Moderate Islam is a religious understanding that has a view or attitude that always tries to take the middle way from two opposing attitudes. The moderate Islamic values in character education include religious, tolerant, democratic, peace-loving, and socially caring characters. This study aims to determine the form and process of integrating moderate Islamic values into character education at MI Miftahul Ulum Driyorejo and the outcomes of integrating moderate Islamic values into character education at MI Miftahul Ulum Driyorejo. This study used a combination research method (mix methods). The results of the study show that there are three forms and processes of integration of moderate Islamic values, namely through classroom learning, through madrasah culture which is carried out every day and through extracurricular activities at MI Miftahul Ulum Driyorejo. The average outcome of moderate Islamic scores at MI Miftahul Ulum is 3.68 which is included in the very good category. This outcome is taken from the results of a Likert scale of moderate Islamic values in which there are religious, tolerant, democratic, peace-loving and socially caring characters.
