Efektivitas Program Jum’at Berkah dalam Penumbuhan Sikap Empati Peserta Didik Di Sekolah Dasar Nahdlatul Ulama 1 Trate Gresik

This study aims to examine or see more deeply the extent to which the implementation of the "Friday Blessing" program is effective in training empathy attitudes in students at SD NU 1 Trate, Gresik. In an effort to improve the quality of character education, this school has designed a program that focuses on developing students' empathetic attitudes. The research method used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through structured interviews with school principals, homeroom teachers and students aged 6-12 years. In addition, observations were also made to gain an in-depth understanding of the implementation of the program and changes in student behavior. The results of the study showed that the implementation of the "Friday Blessing" program at SD NU 1 Trate, went well and involved all students from various grade levels. The proceeds of the alms are allocated for the construction of schools. In addition, the "Friday Blessing" program is also effective in training empathy attitudes in students. Through these alms or infaq activities, students are able to develop a sense of care and understand the perspectives of others. So that they care more about each other. Based on the findings of this study, it is recommended that the "Friday of Blessings" program continue to be developed and expanded in order to achieve more students who have empathy. In addition, the active role of parents also needs to be maintained and improved to support the effectiveness of this program.
